Possible Prospects

Well, I received a call regarding teaching Head Start in Milwaukee. I am VERY excited! A lady I work with found out that I had applied because her daughter works there. She is going to be putting in a good word for me. It's in a brand new/ state of the art building. It isn't in the greatest of neighborhoods, but it's okay if you use common sense. The lady I work with's daughter loves it there and doesn't plan on ever leaving. They already have been calling my references as they called my current work place. Another girl I work with asked our assistant director why she looked so sad, and she told her it was because she just got a call regarding a reference for me! I feel bad, but I di more or less pre-warn them last week (when I was in tears)that I was looking because of everything I was put through at this job since I started. I think it reall makes them sad because one of the other toddler teachers put in her two weeks notice last Friday. Oh well. If they don't fix things, the new people will want to leave soon after they start too. I hope it opens their eyes and know that they have to fix the problem and not just acknowledge to everyone that they know about the hostility and negativity within the rooms.
