and the long week goes on.....

So, I got te lowdown with what happened with Barbie (nickname for ex co-worker). The nice boss was in my room helping out and told how Barbie called her and said she was on her way (she was already an hour late). My boss told her to not even bother. Then my boss proceeded to tell her how immature and unprofessional she is, and how she doesn't care about the kids or her co-workers. Barbie said she cared about the kids, and my boss told her she didn't because she was always late, and didn't interact with them at all after she put in her two weeks. My boss said she was upset about it for about an hour and then came to the conclussion that we are a lot better off without her even though the rest of this week and next will be VERY hectic. I worked 9.5 hours today. Tomorrow will be the same. Fridays are usually hectic in the front of the building because their are usually more babies that come in. Also, a preschool teacher has off, so we will be 3 people short. WOW! I REALLY hope this insanity ends soon! Today I felt REALLY tired around lunch....all the hours are starting to hit me pretty hard. :(

Okay....I must go rest now, and just to let you all know, I STILL haven't heard from the museum. Well, maybe I'll email her to check my status later....after a much needed mental break. :)
